Here's a list of ideas that can make your workouts even better:
- Having a plan for your workout.
- Eating appropriately prior to working out.
- Dressing comfortably (including comfortable shoes).
- A pre-workout supplement for days when energy is low.
- Going at a time when the gym isn't too crowded. I don't know about you but I don't like waiting for equipment to become available.
- Generalized and specific warm-up. Warming up is important for performance and injury prevention.
- Hydration. Bring a bottle to avoid frequent visits to the drinking fountain.
- Having a motivating workout buddy.
